We don't just talk about sustainable tourism, we do the work. Here is a selection of the businesses, destinations and organisations we have worked with, and the workshops and stages where we've shared what we learned.

We worked with S-Cape Partners on telling their sustainability story honestly, without sounding like greenwashing. After their B2B story, we moved office by office across Europe: analysing reports, interviewing teams, and writing individual practices for 6 offices and 17 B2C brands. The result: one consistent sustainability page per office.

Our collaboration with Evaneos spans several years and projects. We developed in-house sustainability training. And most recently worked on Indonesia360, a year-long project with their local agents to combat overtourism, cut carbon, and bring more community activities into the itineraries.

Together with CBI, we worked to make Ugandan tour operators more sustainable and successful. We guided around 70 local tour operators through hands-on coaching that combined sustainable business practices with marketing and communication, ran workshops, and tracked their progress over 6 months.

Through Switch Asia, we guided around 15 tour operators from Bhutan, Kyrgyzstan and Laos on turning their sustainable practices into honest communication: what to say, how to say it, and where, without greenwashing, and while reaching the travellers who share their values.

Over several years, Anne has guided destinations across the Netherlands towards Green Destinations certification, working with them individually and in structured groups to get every criterion in order. She's also trained Green Destinations auditors on the ground in Kenya, passing on the same standards she applies herself.

For VVR, the Belgian tour operator association, we developed their in-house sustainability training. We built a personalised framework around the core building blocks of sustainability. Recorded it fully in their own studio, and added a workbook alongside it to make the training as practical as possible for members.

"We didn't want sustainability to stay a niche for do-gooders. We wanted it to be what sets any travel business apart."
Anne spent years working with hundreds of travel businesses on sustainability certification, and kept hearing the same question: what's in it for me? Rik, with a decade in digital marketing, believed sustainability could set any business apart.
Together they founded Good Tourism Institute: turning sustainable practices into a real business advantage.
